Meet Thao-Nhu
I grew up playing competitive sports, and early on I learned something that stuck with me:
there is a difference when you’re competing alongside the opposite gender—not just physically, but in how confidence, leadership, and voice are expressed and encouraged.
At the same time, I was surrounded by powerful female athletes who proved that girls belong on every court, field, and stage. They didn’t just play well—they spoke up, led boldly, and made space for others to do the same. Those women became my role models.
Years later, that belief deepened when I became a youth group leader for girls ages 7–12. I watched them discover confidence in real time—hesitant at first, then stronger with every word they spoke and every challenge they faced. I saw how much it matters for girls to feel seen, heard, and supported at a young age.
I want to be that voice for pickleball and beyond—the reminder that girls don’t need permission to take up space. FLIGHT is about more than a brand. It’s about confidence, expression, and giving girls the tools to lead—on the court and beyond.
