Paddle Care

At Flight, we understand that everyone has their own way of taking care of their paddles. Whether you're someone who likes to keep your paddle looking brand new or someone who doesn't always give it the attention it deserves, we've got you covered. Whatever your style, we've compiled some simple tips to help you keep your Flight Pickleball paddle in great shape, so it always looks fresh and performs its best.

Extreme Temperatures

Keep your paddle safe from extreme temperatures. If you live in colder areas, don't store your paddle in the trunk of your car or garage. Cold air can make things more likely to break. Similarly, avoid leaving your paddle out in the sun for too long, as intense heat can soften the paddle face.

Handle Grip:

After each play session, simply wipe it down with a towel or damp cloth to keep your grip in good condition and make it last longer. Eventually, you might need to replace the grip, but it's an easy task that you can do at home. You'll notice it's time for a replacement when the grip loses its tackiness or cushion. How often you replace it depends on how often you play and your personal preferences.

Edge Guard:

Make sure to regularly inspect the edge guard of your paddle for any signs of wear and tear, as this indicates how often it's been hitting the ground. While most paddle warranties cover manufacturer defects, they don't cover damage from user error or mishandling.

Paddle Longevity:

Paddles typically last anywhere from 1 to 5 years, depending on how often you use them and how well you take care of them. FLIGHT Pickleball provides a 6-month warranty for any manufacturer defects, but it doesn't cover natural wear and tear or damage caused by neglect.
